The Complete Equipment Solution Delivers
Nick Millar came for an iron fitting last Monday and wanted his new set to take away on tour this Monday. He incredibly hit the new TaylorMade M2 irons up to 25 yards further than his old Titleist 714 AP2's as we found a shaft using the Flightscope technology which was much better suited to his swing.
TaylorMade then did a fantastic job and had the clubs built and delivered in 5 business days - how's that for customer service!
If you would like to try some new technology and take advantage of our complete equipment solution during may- a FREE fitting and a FREE lesson when you purchase TaylorMade, Mizuno or Titleist to the value of £299, then click here, or watch the Titleist video to discover more about this brilliant offer .

Ashley's Technology Corner: Mizuno Golf Balls
Having hit my first Mizuno golf ball ever last week, I was genuinely surprised about how much control and feel you get with both the 'MP-S' and the 'MP-X' balls. 'S' standing for soft, is the softest feeling ball Mizuno Golf have ever produced with a refined Urethane cover for increased velocity; a 330 dimple pattern for a more stable ball flight and a 3 piece construction for faster ball speeds!
In Addition, the MP-X golf ball has been designed for the longer hitters in golf. With exactly the same dimple design and Urethane cover as the MP-S, this ball differs by having a total of four layers to its core make up. This factor uncovered massive improvements in shot distance off the tee with reduced spins rates which tour players loved due to its predictability.

Tommy Martin Foursomes Finalists
This is what happened from the finalists. From Martin:
"After 2 solid pars by Alistair & Myself we then proceeded to demonstrate that Foursomes is a game that can very quickly fall away from you!"
And from Kevin:
"A tight front nine with both sides having chances to forge ahead, however, after 9 Blick and Young were 1up, and remained one up after 11, when Lines holed a long putt for the half. Blick and Young then won 12 with a 3, 13 with a 3, 14 with a 5 nett 4, and we had a putt for 3 on the 15th which was conceded as they had already made 5."
So congratulations to Neil and Kevin and commiserations to Martin and Alistair.
Friendly Fourball
On Friday I played a friendly fourball (with plenty of Matchplay banter) with Bob Douglas, Iain Purves and Greg. The pros took on the members and came through with a 3&2 victory with a steady performance.
I would like to play golf with every member, so if you would like to join me for a friendly fourball on either Thursday, 16 June, at 1.00pm, or Thursday, 23 June, at 1.30pm, then please click here
Surrey Fives Triumph
The Surrey Fives team led by team manager, Daryl Ware, came through 3-2 against Wentworth so well done chaps.
Seniors Frank Williams Stableford
Well done to John McKimmie who won the Seniors Frank Williams Stableford, with 39 points, getting cut from 6 to 5 in the process.
With the top four qualifying for the Matchplay stages, Terry Atkinson was second with 37 points, with Will Longmuir and Toddy pipping Andy Elliott to the final two spots with 36 points on countback.
Unlucky Andy but a great score, just 3 days after his first coaching session with me!
Seniors Match Report
Here is a report from John Watts.
"Unfortunately West Hill Seniors lost in the Second round away at Cuddington of the John Ling Trophy. It was a tense affair with the match tied at 2-2 and the final match finishing all square. Cuddington birdied the first extra hole to put us out. The team was Terry Atkinson, Neil Blick, Rob Guilfoyle, Bob James, Tom Keelan, John McKimmie, Jim Meaney, Mark Randall, Kevin Thomas and Kevin Young."
The Juniors Emerge Victorious
Well done to Lawrence Courtney, Joseph Wood, Ben Whalley, Sam Wood and Freddy Wooster who played against Guildford GC in the Guildford and District Junior League and won 3-2.
