A message from Dan... “Dear all, I would firstly like to inform you all that I will be sadly leaving West Hill on Saturday, 3 August. I am going to give the recruitment world a go and see how I get on, however I am mainly writing to you all to say a huge thank you to each and everyone of you for making my time here at West Hill as good as it could've been. It seems a long time ago back in October 2017 that I started here and almost two years down the line a lot has changed. I can honestly say I have met so many amazing people who I will try my best to stay in touch with for years to come. West Hill has taught me many skills, not just to use in the golfing industry but in life as well. I would like to finish again on a huge thank you for welcoming me into the West Hill family and I can honestly say I have enjoyed every moment of it. Many thanks,
Dan” I’m sure you would like to join me in thanking Dan for the excellent service and commitment he has given us with a smiling face for the last two years and wish him the best of luck in his new career choice. For the next two months my daughter, Mollie, who many of you know from working in the halfway hut, will be working full time in the Pro Shop until she starts university.

Senior Open Qualifying I played the Senior Open Qualifying at Hillside Golf Club in Southport on Monday with 138 professionals playing for 13 places. I missed the play-off by three shots, unfortunately having three three putts to miss my chance for a spot at Royal Lytham. Next year the Senior Open is at Sunningdale so fingers crossed for better luck next year.
