Make a £99.98 saving! TaylorMade equipment is played by some of the world's best golfers, such as Rory McIlroy and Dustin Johnson. In fact, they both use TaylorMade's TP5 or TP5x golf balls, too. They're also some of the longest and straightest guys on Tour, which is partly down to the golf balls and the impressive M5 and M6 drivers. So, for a short time only, we're going to give away two dozen TP5 or TP5x golf balls for FREE with every M5 or M6 driver that we sell - just so you can see the results for yourself. Lesson success
Mark Davies came for a coaching session on Saturday looking to get rid of an occasional block to the right or hook to the left and loved the session. Look carefully at these two pictures and seen the huge change with one simple move. In the left picture, his body weight is too central and the shoulders and hips have tilted. In the right picture, his body has coiled correctly and his weight is loaded into the right leg. From here he could turn through powerfully with plenty of room to release the club down the target line and hit long, straight shots.... and all we had to do was alter his sequence of movement in the backswing. Do you want to enjoy playing better golf now? Click here to go straight to my online lesson booking system to check availability or click here to talk to me about how we can improve your game.

Captain/Pro Challenge
On Friday we had our 24th Captain/Pro Challenge in The Race to Portugal. Michael Fleming and Stephen Lewis were flawless on the front nine playing it in five-under-par. However, the Captain also played fantastic golf and holed some great putts to keep us within touching distance and then to bring us back to level after 15 holes. The pro then helped out with birdies on 16 and 17 to seal the match before finally recording a 1up win. Michael and Stephen said they might just turn up in Portugal uninvited anyway and join in the fun! Our record is now Won 14, Lost 8, Halved 2 - tomorrow our next challenge is from past President Cup Winners, Daryl Ware and Paul Hanley.

President’s Cup
Good luck to all those competing in the President’s Cup quarter-finals on Saturday. With the auction favourites, Darren Noel & Stephen Lewis, going out in their first match last Sunday the draw looks very evenly balanced. Click here to check out the final 8.
The President’s Cup Dinner on Friday was enjoyed by all and our new head chef, Tony, received a huge cheer and round of applause for the wonderful food we were served.

This might sound a little complicated but just give us a chance on this one... Urethane vs Ionomer? Both are materials used on the cover of golf balls but what is the difference between them and how does each affect your game? |
TaylorMade TP5 - Urethane cover You'll usually find that balls at the premium end of the market, like the TP5 and TP5x, have Urethane covers due to its noticeably softer feel and fantastic feedback, which is why they're the go-to choice for many Tour pros.
|
TaylorMade Project (s) - Ionomer cover On the other hand, Ionomer is cheaper to produce which is why you'll find them on less expensive balls, like the Project (s). These balls tend to spin less off the tee, which is why Ionomer features on balls that prioritise distance over feel. |
