A Christmas miracle from Motocaddy Maybe we’ve gone a little over the top with that title but there is still a huge saving to be had in-store right now! If you purchase a Motocaddy Lithium trolley from us between now and the end of 2019, you will be entitled to a FREE Motocaddy golf bag worth up to £219.99. The bag you get is dependant on the trolley you buy, but it really is as simple as that! Pop by the shop to see which trolley suits your needs best.

Keeping it simple The key to simple improvement is to keep the correct fundamentals in place. This is simple but it doesn’t mean it’s easy because it is so hard to check yourself. So many golfers comment on each other’s swings and they start to tinker with swing thoughts when all they actually need is a simple improvement to their set up.
Look how one easy change to Heather Thwaites swing set up has made a dramatic difference. Instead of having the weight sat in her heels with limited space for her hands and arms (left picture), she is now in an athletic position with the balance through the balls of her feet (right picture) enabling her to freely make a much more powerful action with freedom to coil up the upper body in the backswing and unwind from the legs.

Captain/Pro Challenge
On Sunday, we had our first Captain/Pro Challenge of the year from Rod Curry and Nick Millar with them choosing foursomes. In an amazing up and down battle, we went from 2UP through two holes, to 3DN through 11 holes to 1UP standing on the last tee.
The Captain then hit an amazing drive, pitching over the pot bunker in the middle of the fairway. However, unfazed, Rod drove level with him, Nick hit his approach to 20 feet and Rod rolled in the putt for a brilliant birdie and a halved match. |

Captain's Team vs Pro's Team Tour Monday, 18 - Thursday, 21 May 2020
Announcing the dates for our third annual Captain’s Team v Pro’s Team Tour. Despite being 2-0 down in the series, the Pro is giving the Captain a distinct home advantage by travelling to his homelands. However, I am confident that with careful team selection we can turn the tide.
Monday, 18 May Alwoodley Golf Club - 50th in the UK Top 100
Tuesday, 19 May Ganton Golf Club - 28th in the UK Top 100
Wednesday, 20 May Moortown Golf Club - Ranked 63rd in the UK Top 100
