Paul Lewis, Paul Prentice, The Captain and Pro

Last Friday, The Captain and Pro were challenged by Paul Prentice and Paul Lewis. They dovetailed beautifully (even with their constant intra partnership banter) making lots of birdies and secured a 2&1 victory despite the Pro making birdies at 12,15,16 and 17 in a desperate attempt to keep the match alive. Well played the two Pauls.

Here is a match report from Mark Randall:

"After much Friendly banter, a challenge match named "Battle Of The Hill" was arranged between the “B I G O T’s” (Before I get old tourists) and Mr  Simon Mead's “Young Pups”.( we tend to swap ideas on where to go each year). Inspite of hot and challenging conditions, the “Young Pretenders” could not cope with the match play expertise of West Hill's senior golfers. Special mentions for Kevin Young and John Sawford who led from the front and Nick Cobb who had a 4, 4, 4 finish to beat Kieran Brophy and Mike Avant-Smith. Sadly for “The Postman” (Paul Lewis) he could not live up to his much hyped expectations. No prizes for guessing who Vic, as in Victor Meldrue, is."

Final Score - BIGOTs: 4   Young Pups: 2

Team BIGOT - Mark Randall (Captain), Kevin Young, John Sawford, Tom Passmore, Nigel Sellars, Craig Kimber, Greg Craigen, Billy Sutcliffe, Kevin Parrington, Nick Cobb, Alistair Wooster and Greg Mackay.

Team Young Pups - Simon Mead (Captain), Ben Fraser, Peter David, Ian Powell, Andrew Mills, Postman Paul Lewis, Paul Prentice, Martin Cooper, Kieran Brophy, Mike Avant-Smith, Ian Bain and Phil Edwards.

This trolley has been in huge demand since golf returned. It's Motocaddy's brand new M5 GPS electric trolley and, as you can see from the image below, it gives you key distances out on the course on a stylish touchscreen display (plus plenty more!). Watch this week's video to find out exactly what this trolley can do!
