Don't forget the clocks go forward this Sunday and it will be light until 7.45pm! Maybe time to start getting a few holes in after work in the evenings?
With the Masters only two weeks away, everyone starts to get very excited about their golfing season ahead. Are you planning to play more golf this year? If you want to spend more time on yourself and enjoy the fresh air, the company of friends and the challenge of golf then start planning now and make sure you book time in your diary for your favourite sport.
If the dry weather continues then it won't be long before our fantastic new practice ground is fully open with new range balls and in the meantime you could always have a session with us in the West Hill Swing Studio for coaching, or trying new technology or a gapping session to find out exactly how far you hit each club in your bag.
The Masters
The Masters Sweepstake is now open. £5 per player to be drawn at the start of Masters week and if your player finishes in the top 3 you will be the lucky winner of a new custom fit fairway wood, hybrid or wedge in The Swing Studio. Come and buy your tickets and join in the fun.
Swing Studio News
This week Peter Yearsley enjoyed a fitting session in the new swing studio. He compared his old Mizuno irons against the latest technology and found that he hit the new Titleist AP1s 10 yards further than his old clubs and in a tighter dispersion, with a better spin rate and a better launch angle.
Click here to book a session in The Swing Studio.
To kick start your season, book three coaching sessions on any area of your game either in The Swing Studio or on the short game area and we will give you a free gapping session (worth £30) to work out how far you hit all your clubs on the FLIGHTSCOPE in The Swing Studio.
This offer is valid if all sessions are booked in before 30 April 2015.

Thanks to Richard Hills, the Ryder Cup Trophy will be joining us at The Surrey PGA Annual Awards Dinner on Monday 30 March at Epsom Downs Racecourse. I guarantee I will email you a photo holding the trophy if you can join us at the dinner. Tickets are £65 each including a three course meal and entertainment from comedian, Adger Brown. Dress code jacket and tie and 7.30pm for 8.00pm start.
I currently have 10 West Hill members attending and it would be great if more of you could join us. On 25 March, I will be enjoying my 10th anniversary as your club professional at West Hill Golf Club and I would love you to join me to celebrate and to kick start the golfing season at our SURREY PGA flagship event.
The SURREY PGA Three W'S Pro/Am and Annual Awards Dinner had to be postponed as Woking and Worplesdon GC's were unable to hold the event due to waterlogged courses. We have rescheduled for Monday 30 March and the SURREY PGA has to make this work as we are committed to Epsom Downs Racecourse for the dinner. We will be playing the golf at West Surrey GC, Cuddington GC and Banstead Downs GC (West Surrey was in awesome condition when I played there 3 weeks ago.)
Cost is £100 per person to include golf in teams of 3 amateurs with a PGA pro which I will arrange, prizes and the dinner at Epsom including after dinner speaker.
WE DESPERATELY NEED SUPPORT FOR THIS RESCHEDULED EVENT. PLEASE CLICK HERE TO JOIN US.
Congratulations to Mark Watts who won the Weekday Stableford on Friday with 38 pts. Second was Andrew Male with 37 pts with David Haigh third on countback.
Last Sunday we had a Captain/Pro challenge against Mike Coulson and Jon Yates. In a topsy turvy game we were 3 up then all square again before 1 birdie and 6 pars in the last eight holes gave us a memorable win of 5 up through 18 holes. We have now played 7, won 4, lost 2 halved 1. Are you ready for the challenge?
We now have some more Captain Pro challenge dates available. Click here to challenge us on:
