Chris Smith had a chipping lesson and just nine days later he won the Club Stableford with 38 points!! Now he is hitting perfectly struck chips like Jordan Spieth and the golfing world is his oyster!!

All we did was make a couple of simple improvements to his set up position and got him to commit to his follow through and the results were amazing. Congratulations to Simon Legge who wins a custom fitting for a new driver after drawing Zach Johnson in the Open Sweepstake. Joint second were Jimmy Sweetzer and Stephen Thwaites who drew Louis Oosthuizen and Mark Leishman and joint fourth were Ian Edwards and Peter Oakes with Jason Day and Jordan Spieth.

As mentioned in Swing Studio News, well done to Chris Smith for winning Division 2 with 38 points. Second was Andrew McNaught with 37 and third was John Scurlock-Davies with 34 points. In Division 1 Greg Gould won also with 38 pts with Robert Douglas second with 36 pts and James Connor third with 35 pts.

Hankley Common won the Seniors Invitation Day with 90 points playing with Ken Marchant. Second were St Georges Hill with 85 pts partnered by Neil Blick and third were Camberley Heath with 84 pts partnered by Howard Ashton. Well done to Malcolm Johnson for organising the prizes for day.

Congratulations to our new Ladies' Club Champion, Jan Gilkes who won with 85 + 80 = 165. Second was Rosemary Wallis 85 + 85 = 170 and third Kay Bowman 84 + 86 = 170. Well done also to Barbara Pike who won the handicap section with 39 points. Second was Hilary Ashton with 36 points and third Veronica Putley with 34 points.
