Fitting News
Last week Gerry came for a fitting, he was looking to replace his 3wood & hybrid. After trying the Adams, Titleist, Taylor Made M1 & Aero Burner it was clear to see which one performed the best.
The Mizuno gave Gerry a few extra yards on carry & total distance but the most important thing for Gerry was the feel, control & being able to shape the ball.

Captain and professional challenge
The Captain, David Alvis, would like to invite members to challenge the Captain and Professional throughout 2016.
There are dates on Sunday mornings, Saturday afternoons and Friday afternoons so that their are options for all categories of members.
Each match will be played to a holes up or down result after the full 18 holes and the biggest win of the year (if anyone beats us!!!!) will be treated by the Captain to two days golf at Saunton Sands on 19th & 20th October 2016 and includes overnight accommodation.
If there is a tie for the best winning score there will be a fun shootout at the 18th green at lunchtime on Saturday, 15 October 2016 to decide the outright winners.
