Coaching on Weekday Evenings - if time is tight for you at weekends, remember I am now coaching from 4pm to 9pm on the simulator in The Swing Room on a Wednesday evening and Greg is doing the same on a Monday evening. Click here to book your coaching at any time.
Hiring out the simulator in the Swing Room. If you want to practice during the winter in the warmth without wearing lots of layers we are hiring out the Simulator in the Swing Room for £20 an hour. Remember it will also help you gap your clubs so you know all your yardages as well as tell you your club head speed, spin rates and smash factor which is a measure of how well you are striking the ball.
We have had one cancellation for our member's day out to Royal St Georges on Tuesday 1 December so if anyone can join us to make it back up to even fourballs please click here now. Don't forget we are now selling tickets for The Professionals Xmas draw. There will be approx £2,000 worth of prizes and the draw will be done after the Captain's Drive In and Christmas Lunch so grab your tickets next time you are at the club.
Congratulations to Alistair Lines who won the Club Stableford last Sunday with 38 points. Second in Div 1 was Kieran Brophy, with Peter Robinson third on countback and in the frame again following his coaching tip on improving his posture as mentioned in the newsletter two weeks ago!!! Mark Jenkins won Div 2 with 37 points, just pipping David Jones on countback who was using his new driver following his fitting with Greg a couple of weeks ago. Third with 36 points was Daryl Ware.
Nick Cobb, Kevin Young and Mark Randall have just enjoyed a fantastic few day's golf at Leopards Creek, South Africa, with former West Hill member Brad Allen. I'm assuming that as Mr Cobb is hugging and kissing his new TaylorMade M1 driver that it helped him to take all the money on the golf course???
