Julian Thomas joined me at Frilford Heath this week for a Titleist and FootJoy experience day. We had a shoe fitting ( where we both discovered that we were wearing the wrong size golf shoes, a ball fitting (where Julian was able to confirm that Pro V1 is better for him than Pro V1x) and a club fitting where Julian tried the new Titleist GT drivers as well as the U-505 driving irons.
We then played a fourball betterball and played solidly finishing with 40 points, just one outside the prizes but Julian won a fantastic nearest the pin prize of 2 Vokey SM10 wedges with an iron to 10 feet at their 9th hole.
