Congratulations to David Harrison & Stephen Lewis who won the Buchanan with an excellent 43 points. Pipped on countback were Greg Gould & Dan Haw with Paul Prentice & Toddy third with 42 points. The presentation was followed by the Men's Annual Prizegiving and we will picture the winners over the next few weeks.
Well done to Janet Lea, Jan Gilkes and Christine Thompson who won the Team Stableford with 86 points by 5 clear points - and yes you guessed it both Janet and Christine have had coaching in the last couple of weeks with Christine having a lesson immediately before play - who says you can't improve immediately with golf coaching!
Second were Kay Bowman, Ann Passmore & Renate Clare with 81 points and third were Hilary Ashton, Julie Chew and Marjan Harman with 80 points. Congratulations also to our new Women's Captain, Jan Gilkes, who won the Weekend Stableford with a brilliant 40 points. Second was Jacqueline Stroyberg with 39 points and third was Kay Bowman with 37 points.
Finally a great achievement by Kathryn McKimmie who won the ladies Senior Club Championship two-round tournament at Las Brisas GC in Spain this week by an amazing 16 shots! Well done Kathryn.
